CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION & LIABILITY
- Parents/guardians must supervise their children under 15 years old at all times during the event.
- If for any reason this Event is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion to modify the terms of the Event including these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter and any companies associated with the Event accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of participation in the Event, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- A deposit of $15 in cash is payable at the Centre Management Office by 1 (one) participant, which will only be refunded to the participant when the chess set is returned in the same condition in which it was borrowed in to ensure all players continue to enjoy the same benefit.

An enforced time limit of 90 minutes has been instituted for each chess match. In the event that the chess set is not duly returned to the centre management office, the deposited amount will be considered forfeited.

By participating, all individuals acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
- By participating in this event, the participant agrees to the promoter collecting and using the personal information which the participant provides for the following purposes:
- Carrying out the Event.
- To provide future communications from the Promoter including marketing promotions, special offers, future competitions, school holiday activity, newsletters, and other marketing material. The participant may at any time choose not to receive this information.
- By participating in the Event, a participant consents to the collection and use of this information as set out in these Terms and Conditions.
