Leigh’s love of travel grew during the five years she spent living in the United Kingdom. Experiencing Europe firsthand gave her a deep appreciation for its cultures, landscapes and hidden gems, knowledge she now draws on to help clients plan unforgettable holidays with confidence.

She began her career with Flight Centre Travel Group in 2012, working in Sydney before spending time at the company's North Sydney Head Office.

When COVID arrived, Leigh took the opportunity to make a move she'd long been considering, relocating to sunny Queensland. She quickly fell in love with the lifestyle, the weather and the welcoming community.

After connecting with fellow travel professionals through a private industry network, Leigh joined Travel Associates Cleveland in 2024. Today, she is part of a close-knit team of experienced advisors, bringing genuine care, personal service and real-world travel experience to every itinerary she creates.

Leigh believes that some of the most meaningful parts of travel are often found in the details that cannot be discovered through a standard online search.

It might be a tiny French patisserie tucked down a side street you would miss if you did not know it was there, practical advice about the right footwear for a European winter, or choosing a departure time from Brisbane that may help make the adjustment to a new time zone a little easier.

Whenever Leigh travels, she makes a point of capturing photographs and remembering the places that stand out. She knows it may only be a matter of time before she is planning a similar journey for a client who will value seeing and hearing about those experiences firsthand.

The Moments That Stay With You

One of Leigh’s most memorable bookings involved helping a client plan a proposal high in the Austrian Alps near Obergurgl, complete with flowers specially brought in from Italy.

While experiences like that are unforgettable, Leigh says her favourite moments often come after her clients have departed. She loves receiving WhatsApp messages, selfies and photos from around the world, knowing she played a small part in creating those memories.

One that stands out is a photo of two clients travelling first class through the Swiss Alps, smiling over glasses of champagne. More recently, she helped organise overseas holidays for three couples, including one who had never travelled outside Australia.

Whether it's a once-in-a-lifetime proposal, a first overseas adventure or a long-awaited celebration, Leigh never takes for granted the trust her clients place in her to help create memories they'll cherish forever.
